The neural networks

The neural networks were created in the result of the natural processes investigation that take place in the higher nervous system of the live creatures and attempts of these processes reproduction. The term "neurone" means the main executive element of the artificial neural networks. It was first borrowed from the theory of the natural nervous systems.
In the same way the genetic algorithms were appearing in the result of investigations and attempts of copying the natural processes that take place in the world of live organisms as well as copying the evolution and the selection connected with it inside the population of the live creatures. Of course it is necessary to pay attention to the principally different period of the mentioned natural processes lasting during the compare of the neural networks and genetic algorithms. During the computer model these differences result to be unimportant.
The idea of the genetic algorithms was created by John Holland in the end of 60s and the beginning of 70s of the 20th century. He got interested in the processes of the natural evolution. Holland was sure that it is possible to design and develop the computer program algorithm that would select and solve the tasks using the same principles as evolution.
The genetic algorithms are frequently used with the neural networks. They may support the neural networks and vice versa. Both of them may be used for the solution of the certain task.
