Scientific methods

There is the number of methods that are used to develop and to investigate the artificial intelligence (AI).

One of such methods was developing from the end of 90s of the past century. This method pays attention to the methods and algorithms that will help the intellectual agent to survive in the environment during the tasks solution. In such way scientists who work using this method pay attention to the algorithms of search and decisions making.

The most general method supposes that AI will be capable to show the behaviour that doesn't differ from the human one especially in the normal situations. This idea is based on the theories that the machine will become smart when it becomes capable to maintain conversation with the live person and the person won't be able to understand that he/she is talking with the machine.

Writers of science fiction very often use another method according to which the artificial intelligence will appear when the machine is able to feel and create.

Nowadays the investigation of the artificial intelligence has two ways of the development. The first way is the solution of problems that are connected with the approach of the AI specialised systems to the possibilities of people and their integration that is realised by the essence of people.

Another way consists in the creation of the AI that is the integration of already created systems of AI into one system that is able to solve the problems of humanity.

1. Artificial intelligence is the sphere of computer technologies that investigates the formalization of tasks that remind the tasks solved by people. The algorithm of the tasks solving is unknown beforehand. Sometimes there are also the tasks with the images taking that are traditionally included into the sphere of artificial intelligence investigation.

2. Scientists coincide in one point that the most complicated problem is not the imitation of the brain work but learning the principles of its work.

3. Those who support the idea of artificial intelligence creation say that any intellect can be regulated and controlled. Besides it will be programmed to help people and not to harm them.

4. The modern science of the Artificial intelligence (AI) gives four main principles of investigation that are the logical, the structural, the evolutional and the simulation principles.

5. With the development of technologies people considered the mechanical creatures to be something more than just the simple toys. The literature depicted the fears of people that humanity can be substituted by its own creation. The novel about Frankenstein is considered to be the first science-fiction work that depicted this problem.
